Santu Pretu (Black Sand Beach)

TThis secret underwater cave is accessible by boat or a swim through a small opening. Once inside, the sunlight reflecting off the water creates a surreal, electric blue glow. It’s a magical place for snorkeling or simply marveling at nature’s wonders.

The Blue Room Cave

There’s something undeniably magical about a girls’ trip – the laughter, the bonding, and the chance to create lasting memories. When it comes to planning such a getaway, the destination plays a pivotal role in ensuring an unforgettable experience.

I recently took a girls’ trip (aka kid-less mom trip with my bestie) to this luxurious resort, where we stayed 2 nights in a gorgeous bungalow, indulged at their incredible restaurants, lounged by the pool, and enjoyed rejuvenating facials at the spa.

Klein Curaçao (Little Curaçao)

This small, uninhabited island located 10 kilometers southeast of Curaçao is the ultimate hidden paradise. Known for its pristine white sand beaches, turquoise waters, and a shipwreck that has become a popular photo spot, Klein Curaçao is a true tropical getaway.
• Ideal For: Day trips, snorkelers, divers, and sunbathers.
• Tips: Book a boat tour to reach the island. Pack sunscreen, snacks, and water, as there are limited facilities. Don’t miss the old lighthouse and shipwreck for unique photo opportunities.

Hato Caves

Though not entirely hidden, Hato Caves often remain underrated by many tourists. This extensive limestone cave system features fascinating stalactites, stalagmites, and even ancient petroglyphs from the island’s earliest inhabitants.
• Ideal For: History buffs, nature lovers, and families.
• Tips: The cave tours last about 45 minutes and are a great way to escape the heat. Be sure to bring a camera, as the cave’s natural formations are quite photogenic.
